Hello everyone,

After several days of no access to the list I'm finally back. First let
me apologize for the multiple postings (How to display discount amount?)
that caused so much trouble. It certainly wasn't a malicious act. The
server that caused the error has been thoroughly reprimanded and forced
to sit facing the wall ;-). So to everyone who was offended I'm sorry.

As for the question I posted. Thanks to Mike for his response. I was
aware of the [item-discount] tag you pointed out. My understanding of
this tag is that it works within [item-list][/item-list] and iterates
across the cart displaying the discount on each item. Since I'm using
[discount ENTIRE_ORDER] when I use this tag $0.00 is returned. I'm
presuming the reason is that no per item discount is being done, the
discounting only occurs after the entire contents of the cart are
totaled, so $0.00 is returned.

The reason for my fixation on this topic is everyone who has tested the
site says the same things about the subtotal. It is disconcerting to
show the discounted subtotal without the dollar amount of the discount.
It looks like it is not totaling the order correctly. Even with copy
about the discounting that is being applied people are confused about
the correct price. Everyone wants to see exactly how much the discount
is so they can check the math for themselves.

I realize I am not the most popular person right now but I'm going to
ask again anyway. Is there a way to display the dollar amount of the
discount for the entire order when using the [discount ENTIRE_ORDER]?
