so by this:

[set search values]
[value name="search_field" set="[value mv_search_field]"]
[/set]

you set the used variable for mv_search_field to a tag called
"search_field", right ?

And then [selected name="search_field" value="Artist"]: Does this mean
something like: "if the value for search_field equals "Artist", display
"selected" ?

Please tell me if this does or doesn't make any sense.
