Re: Search Region

Well, I solved my own problem: [search-region se=""/sf=category][value mv_search_match_count][no-match] 0 [/no-match][/search-region]

Just had to add the [no-match] so MV didn't feel like it had to.

Thanks,
BA

Subject: Search Region

Hi,

I use a    [search-region se=""/sf=fieldname] [value mv_search_match_count] [/search-region]   tag to do a statistics page for my databases, and it is completely accurate.  So if I have 32 products in the category "modems", it will tell me.  I can do dozens of categories on a page with no performace problem.

Here is the problem:  When I do that in the 3.12beta it now comes up to a page that says in big bold letters "no match for " and "there were no matches found" and has the button bar and copyright information. Yet it still shows the statistics successfully, even 0 when there aren't any.

Is there any way that I can suppress this, and what is causing it?

Thanks,
Brian T. Allen
