Problems with kernel 2.2?

Hello...
I wrote a letter to mike this morning describing a problem I had
installing MV on my just updated system (a SuSE6.0 with glibc).
I was not sure if this problem was related to the MV-Source or to the
setup of my system, so I decided to send it to Mike himself.
I´ve just rebooted my system with the 2.0.36-kernel, and installation
seems to be succesfull. So I think the problem has something to do with
the 2.2.0-pre-Kernel.
Anybody here having the same problem (installing MV on a Linux 2.2 box)?
