Your mistake is, that you do not provide any information whatsoever about
what you are doing. Some things you can check:
- products.asc on the unix machine unless you have created it there. Maybe
the last field in the database really is "price^M"
- can you access the database at all, i.e. the description field
- any info in the error logs
- does [data base="products" field="price" key="0002"] work
