products.asc problem

Hello,
I am having a problem with a new products data base I am
building. It is a TAB delimited file with 3 fields. They are:
code description price
Each field has a record like follows:
0002 BACH,CPE SNTA g VA/P 10.95
^tab ^tab
All works well, but the prices always show up as $0!
I have been over it till I cannot see straight. What am I
doing wrong?
Minivend 3.11, Linux 2.0.18, perl-5.004-0.1
