RE: losing shopping - NOT a proxy problem.

I have had this problem also, with the exact same symptoms. I am using
Minivend 3.11, perl 5.004_04 built for irix-n32, and Irix 6.5.
Thanks,
Russ

Subject: losing shopping - NOT a proxy problem.

Hi everyone,
We're running Minivend 3.11, perl 5.004 under Redhat Linux.
The problem we've found is shopping basket contents going
missing in what originally looked like an inconsistent manner
but on further investigation it appears that it's related to
using more than one shopping basket on the same SSL server.
What I believe happens is that if you use one shopping basket
on our server (accepting cookies) and then transfer to the SSL
server to place the order everything works fine until this point.
But then if using the same browser *without* quiting it first
you use another shopping basket on the same server and again transfer
to the SSL to place the order, then the contents of the basket
get lost at the point of transferring to the SSL server... (this
is *not* a proxy problem) I believe that this problem is therefore
occuring due to confusion between the two different cookies used
on the SSL server with minivend and which one is relevant to the
catalogue that you're viewing...
Does anyone know of anyway to fix this?
Thanks,
Gordon
