RE: 2 items...

****** message to minivend-users from Valutech - Tim Shea <tim@valutech.net> ******

Hi Jonathon,

I would try the following:

[page href="PKOS-005SS/va=categoryID=2"]Click Here[/page]

As far as bringing up two items with one link, I would check into the
browse function. I don't use the browse function myself, but looking into
it briefly I'd try something like this:

[page href="browse/va=ProductPrefix=PKOS-005/va=CategoryID=2" 1:2]

Then in browse.html:

[loop search="fi=products.asc/se=[scratch
ProductPrefix]/sf=code/bs=yes/su=yes/tf=code/"]
...insert your loop code here...
[/loop]

I haven't tried the above exactly as stated, but I use the /bs=yes/su=yes
to allow me to do a substring, beginning-of-field match, which appears to
be what you are trying to do.

Cheers,
Tim Shea

I am trying to get this working also. Basically the approach I am
attempting to make is this: reference the entire URL via the hyperlink.

http://__MVEND_CGI__/[data session id]/va=categoryID=2

or something like this. I have not been successful in receiving the value
on the other side, though. If someone could help me out on the subject, it
would be greatly appreciated.
