Jon,
thank you very much. You put me on the right track. I've been looking 
in the "Hall of fame" and nothing seems to get close to what I need. 
But I'll have my manuals and I'm making some searches in the mailing 
archive that have been very helpful too. Now I need to seat and do some 
brain work on everything, but I'll be back soon, to beg for more help.
