[mv] How To Extract Item Codes At Checkout Question

Hello,

Does anyone know how I can get the product code for each item that is
ordered for a given session?

I would like to capture this information at the checkout after the
'Place Order' button has been selected.  I do not see anything obvious
in checkout.html that would let me do this.  I see the [item-list] loop,
but I do not know how this works.  Is there a way here to get the item
codes?

By the way, I am using Minivend3.5.
