Assuming your using some UNIX box...

I use Midnight Commanders editor, since
it includes hilighting of word context
in .HTML and ITL "when" I get the code
correct.

If there were functions built into 
Dreamweaver for ITL code as if it were
html or some script I would dump mcedit,
build a MS windows box and use it.

I used VI once and found I was always
trying to "escape".
