If you are using a shared host you may need to fully specify your path,
and you may also need a wrapper.  I know you don't need it with most
CGI's on a virtual host but if you are using Interchange you will (if
you're on a non-dedicated host), anyway look into it and see if your
host has you use a command like virtual.  I have to write the full path
to that to get it to work it took me forever to figure out why it was
doing that.

SendMailProgram  /usr/local/bin/virtual /bin/sendmail
