Well, if it is true or not, that should be easy to tell: if products from 
all your files show up in the catalog, but only products from the first 
file show up in the UI, then you are correct! In that case, I think you 
would need to modify the UI if you wanted to use the Item Editor for all 
your ProductFiles. My approach would be to add a form or link to 
pages/admin/item.html which allow me to set mv_data_table to the products 
file I wanted two work with; the in-page search would also need a change or 
two, probably the addition of fi=filename. Getting all the products from 
all files to combine into one list would be more complicated if it is not 
happening automatically - unless someone else out there has some knowledge 
on this subject that they can share.
