IC 4.8.6, Perl 5.6.1, Linux 2.4.19, Debian woody, Apache 1.3.26

I would like to say:
[table-editor
        hidden.formvarname=[cgi something]
        ...
]

The next page shows the cgi formvarname as literally [cgi something].
How can I have the value of cgi something appear as the value of the
hidden input element formvarname in the form returned by table-editor?
