The ~username indicates that your ISP is most likely using CPanel to
administer Interchange - which means you are stuck with it that way,
unless
they are willing to do a custom Interchange install manually for you.

Ed,
Are you saying that if I log in with the user name shop the url will be:
http://www.domain.com/~shop/cgi-bin/cart.cgi
In addition, I tried to use the CPanel option to do a redirect from:
http://www.domain.com
to
http://www.domain.com/~username/cgi-bin/cart.cgi
And this did not work. Any ideas?
