[ic] Multiple instances of interchange on same server?

Hi All,

I've read through the documentation at
interchange.rtfm.info and the forums at
interchangeville.com looking for the answer to this,
but have come up dry so far.  

I'm trying to set up a development version of our
catalog on the same server as our live version.  I
have set up another virtual domain pointing to the
directory where I've copied the entire directory
structure of our live interchange installation.  I've
changed references to the live directory in local.cfg.

When I start interchange from the development
directory, though, the output from the 'interchange
restart' command looks like it's restarting our live
one, not starting the new dev one.

So, I have a feeling I'm going about this wrong.  I
want to be able to access the development copy using
the dev virtual server, and copy over modified files
to the live directory when I'm done testing.  How can
I get two catalogs with separate admin areas running
on one machine?
