Don't use '?' and '&' with [area].  [area] will take care of the URI
args for you in such a way as to not interfere with any existing args,
such as the session ID.  [area] will also hexify the args automatically,
where required:

    <a href="[area href=yourpage form=|
        name=Jack
        foo=bar
    |]">hello world</a>

The same goes for [page]:

    [page href=yourpage form=|
        name=Jack
        foo=bar
    |]hello world[/page]
