[ic] Cannot save credit card orders

 Earlier I wrote about my problem where credit card orders were not being 
saved. I had a PostgreSQL database and a catalog based on an old version.

 I've now stopped using postgres and switched back to db files, but I still 
get the same problem:

 "There was an error adding to the transaction log."

 Can someone tell me how to get more debugging information, such as WHY it 
can't save? I've tried:

 * Throwing away the old transactions.txt and orderline.txt and using the 
newer ones from the 4.8.6 foundation demo.

 * Changing to &set=mv_payment Credit Card (%c)

 * Reading the interchange error.log

 * Reading the catalog's error.log

 * Putting NoAbsolute No in interchange.cfg
 
 * Voodoo.

 Nothing works at all. Would really appreciate some help.
