[ic] Learning Perl Regex

I know this is not a IC question but it seems
without it you really can't take full advantage
of IC.

Can someone point me to some documentaion
on Perl regular expressions and how to
use them?

I would like to spend some time with some
practical examples.

I have some limited knowledge of there use
from within apache's mod rewrite and
regex usage in bash but need to get a
better grasp on how to use them in IC.

I am finding myself being very limited
in working with IC because of this so I
figured it would be time to buckle down
learn them like I do a Cicso router.
