[ic] Cannot upload products.txt via excel, or through the admin,Excel major issues please help

I think I asked this same question awhile back and received a helpful 
reply. There may be better ways, but here's what works for me.

Edit the Excel spreadsheet and save in .xls format. Open that same 
spreadsheet in Access, then export as tab delimited choosing "include 
field names in first row" and "none" for text qualifier. Doing that, I 
can use the GUI's table import function.

I was never able to get text files exported directly from Excel to work 
properly.
