[ic] Sendmail & .cfg issues plz hlp

Issue:---- Sendmail is not sending e-confirmations to customers or new order 
verifications to my email address.

Troubleshoot:---- sendmail works fine from the shell @ port 25

Details:---- I am trying to troubleshoot sendmail and interchange to figure 
out what may be causing the lack of email responce to orders.
- I have been looking through catalog.cfg but I can't seem to see what file 
the _ORDERS_TO_ variables is tied to so that I can make sure what email 
address is being used.

Questions:---- is there a local log that stores order information, what 
files stores email config info.

Any help is greatly appreciated
