[ic] CPAN problems
I'm just trying to install IC 4.8.3 and am finding that although the install
supposedly completes, it spits out loads of errors in the CPAN stage and
hence the server doesn't actually start up successfully.
Here's the error messages:
CPAN: LWP::UserAgent loaded ok
Fetching with LWP:
ftp://cpan.teleglobe.net/pub/CPAN/authors/01mailrc.txt.gz
Going to read /root/.cpan/sources/authors/01mailrc.txt.gz

Going to read /root/.cpan/sources/modules/03modlist.data.gz

The files that it is requesting exist at that location, but I changed the
server via the CPAN console just to be sure. I've also tried deleting
everything under /root/.cpan/sources/ but to no avail. The installers advice
of "try it again" doesn't seem very effective this time!
Any ideas?
Cheers
Jon
