just BTW and maybe not related:

When IC gets into some 100% CPU condition and I restart it, I
always get this message, too. But since I use INET mode, I need
to 
killall -TERM interchange && sleep 3 && killall -KILL interchange
then the socket becomes free and can be reused by the restartet
IC. Just FYI.
