[ic] How to implement gift wrap option?

Hello.  I am looking for someone to point in me in the right direction.

My client wants to have an option available to select if you want an item 
gift wrapped.  What would be the best way to do this?

Since there are 1000's of items, putting each one into options.txt doesn't 
make sense, even thought that is where the capabilities are.  Is there a way 
to force/fake this for each item so that I don't have to put them all into 
options.txt?

Mostly, I am baffled as to how to do this and still have it all show up on 
the final invoice, be included in subtotal, etc.

Any insight would be appreciated.  Thanks!
