[ic] Invoicing with Ghostscript or PDFlib?

Colleagues, 

I am sure that this has been brought up before, the issue of creating 
invoices downloadable as PDF files on the fly. I am challenged by this 
unusual request and I seek your aid immediately. 

I am thinking that maybe I can perhaps create a tag-lib document, set the 
handler as a PDF file, and use Perl to call PDFlib. The next enigma--at 
least for me--would be to format the invoice properly.
