    For example, foundation has products.txt and creates products.gdm.
Why ?  Is this for faster searches ?

    Is it possible to modify foundation to utilize some (e.g. userdb.mysql)
files
as opposed to userdb.txt ?  And/Or is it possible to add fields to userdb.txt
without hosing things up... assuming I do it correctly ?  With whatever
recommended
option where to read about it or some examples would be great.
