[ic] Rendering problems with IE that do not occur with Netscape

Hi folks,

I have spent hours trying to determine why a set of IC pages work great 
with NS but choke with IE.  I have reduced it to this basic HTML result 
and after staring at it, my eye's must be glazing over because I cannot 
see what it would also not work in IE.  I have stripped everything that 
is unnecessary for the test and replaced almost everything with basic 
'text' place holders.

Long story short, in Column 2 which is the area_content section, if the 
three <IMG> tags are removed, leaving the text, both IE and NS behave 
the same, in particular, the bottom of column 2 with the Redhat IC and 
Thawte logo as well as the breakbar, appear.  The moment the three IMG 
tags are in place, NS renders it properly, but IE will not display 
anything in column 2 after this immediate area_content table.

Thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated...
