[ic] Need help/idea with admin and .xls import

I could be completely wrong here, but I expect that the Perl module
RPMs you installed were intended for a different Perl version to
whatever you have, and installed accordingly.

Try installing the modules from CPAN and see what that does for you:

    perl -MCPAN -e 'install Module::Name'
