I'm not sure if I understand what your intentions, but you can generate an
alphabetically more list with:

mv_more_alpha=1
mv_more_alpha_chars=1  
mv_sort_field=code

The field in mv_sort_field must appear in mv_return_fields too (or set that
to *).
