[ic] There was an error adding to the transaction log.
When the Place Order button is clicked in the checkout page, it just
recycles to the same page. No red indications and no error messages except
in the log files.

Any help would be appreciated. I suspect a missing or damaged file, but I
restored files from well before the error started.
