[ic] recurring orders question

Hi. Ive been looking through the docs and list and havent seen an answer
to this:

I know IC has a 'recurring orders' feature.  Has anybody messed with
actually making these orders re occur on a specific interval, say for a
monthly charge?  If so, how did you go about it? Some sort of a custom
script that performs the 'placing order' functions? Curious and
wondering if its worth tackling...
