[ic] please alittle help with this statement

thanks mike, but that didn't really help me.

here's what i'm trying to do:

foreach $item (@items) {

  if($item eq "BEN01") {
    yes item eq BEN01
  }

  if($item eq "BEN02") {
    yes item eq BEN02
  }

  etc ...
}  

could someone please show me the correct way to code this in interchange, thanks!
