[ic] UI: How do I format a date-column in flex_select?

Hi,

I have a date-column (yyyymmdd) that I want to format to dd.mm.yyyy.

I know that I can do a column lookup by using column(lookup.table.field),
but how do I format a date to dd.mm.yyyy.

If my explanation was fuzzy, so please look here what I meant :-)

go to http://demo.icdevgroup.org/i/demo1/admin/login.html and login
(demo/demo)
select <tables> (top-right)
edit the forum table
select the <forum>-link next to "Select for table edit:"

This what I'm trying to do should be specified in the "Show on select page"
text-area. The lookup for an external value from an other table would here
be specified like column(lookup.table.field).


I would be thankful if someone could give me a hint to this problem.
