I just ran into this problem also in setting up authorize.net.  I 
found a post that fixed it.  I don't know why this would be,
but the fix was to move this line in your catalog.cfg:

OrderProfile    etc/profiles.order etc/profiles.login etc/profiles.misc

from its current location to ABOVE the section on Order Routes
This fixed my order profile not found error.

now if I can just get authorize net working !
