4.9 is the unstable development series. It probably *is* the best 
Interchange available today, and many of us use it for our new projects. 
However, it hasn't yet gone through a formal public beta test and it's 
still under development. It's up to you to decide whether you want to use 
4.9 or 4.8 at this point.
