so then all your ic pages stay in their same location (ie.
/catalogs/store/pages/...) and simply by calling https: instead of http: the
pages become secured?

The way I have my linux servers configed is by port, and so my users simply
use https: and do not have to symb. link or copy files over to another
directory.
