[ic] Display Status 404

Hey everyone,

If I go into the admin interface, then Design, then click on some sample
data like "Tool Storage" to populate the field, I have a Display Status
option in the lower right corner.  If I click on any given option then I
get a 404 error page.  Here's the link it tries to follow:

At first I thought I just had a misplaced ui.html file, but searching
the archives revealed that it's not a true file (I'm still learning
about this).  I see that according to mv_nextpage it's taking me to
admin/layout, which I know exists (or else I couldn't get to where I
am).  Is there anything I need to do to get this to work on a stock
load?  Or are there any tools I can use to troubleshoot this myself?  My
Apache logfile just reports a standard 404 error reporting the link I
supplied above.
