[ic] mail timeout.

I've got a confirmation email going out at the end of my signup process.

After hitting submit, I've got roughly enough time to go have a cigarette
and a coffee before the email is set, and the last page comes up.
Frequently the browser times out.

In searching the mailinglist archive, I saw some suggestions about dns....
but that appears to be set up properly.  Anyone else have any thoughts?  I
have no errors in either the sendmail or interchange logs.
