[ic] UI : How to display only certain sub-menus?

For eg, in the current demo admin module, under the main menu item 
"Customers", the sub-menus include "Active Customers", "Inactive 
Customers", and "Create New Customers".  

I need to grant certain access permissions for my clients (ie, Store 
Admin) to view the customers' info.  Is there a way I can ONLY 
display the sub-menu "Active Customers"?
