As for the reason for this, I have found that the appetite for free
consulting is insatiable, and no matter how much I said I would
answer one question but could not answer all, people still asked
question after question.
This applied to telephone calls too, and so I just made a strict policy
-- I don't answer random questions about Interchange. There are too many
users, and that point was reached about 4 years ago in Minivend days.
I of course make some exceptions -- for instance if Racke, Kevin, Ed, or
Dan B. (just to name a few) ask me a direct question, I answer, for I
know that they will pay me back 10 times by spreading that knowledge on
this list. I also know they have done all possible research before asking.
