Each user can save as many "carts" as they like in their
userdb record.  See the [userdb] tag docs.

For instance [userdb function="set_cart" nickname="foo"]
will save the current cart contents using "foo" as the
key.  [userdb function="get_cart" nickname="foo"] will
retrieve the user's cart contents, identified by "foo".

There are other [userdb] facilities as well.
