[ic] Localized error messages

Hi.

I've been trying to translate the error messages in Interchange, but no success. This is driving me mad. I've tried several methods, found in this mailing list, and none of them seems to work.

My store is in 3 languages, and I would like the error message, ie. "Invalid username or password", to be translated. Is there a way to "catch" these messages and translate them? Is there perhaps a IC tag or something like that in the latest beta (4.7.7)?
