[ic] how to control image size

ok, as you enter the main shopping cart 

the three images at the top are: 

a1.gif, a2.gif and a3.gif 

in /images/navigation 

I replaced them with my images simply by uploading the
replacements, but my images are different sizes,
and I am not sure where to look to change that, any
ideas ?
