[ic] online malls using Interchange?

As part of an ongoing research and training project, I am looking for
example/case studies of anyone who has used Interchange to build an online
mall.  This could be:

1) one implementation of Interchange with separate products (controlled by
separate vendors) but a unified shopping cart and checkout

OR

2) separate implementations of Interchange with separate products, carts, and
checkouts but sharing a common starting interface

3) some variation of the 'online mall' model.  I realize that the mall concept
may be outdated, but we are researching models for presentation to our
