Not sure if anyone is still alive on this list :)

I have a column in my database called SOLDOUT, if the item is sold 
out they put in a "yes" or a "y".

I've been trying to setup a scan to search for a substring, not case 
sensitive for any items that do no contain "y"

like 
http://www.mydomain.com/cgi-bin/mystore/scan/sf=SOLDOUT/su=yes/cs=no/se=y/op=ne

this still returns all matches for "y"

I've officially tried 30 combinations and no luck. I'd list all the 
combos I've tried but I think it would be repetative.

I need to basically know how to just list the items that are NOT sold out.

Suggestions?
