ps -aux|grep interch
did ya get anything other than the above command? If not it is NOT running.
Interchange is not a script. Do you know what a server daemon is? It most
likely is not running. Depending on your particular install if tarball you will
need to know where you installed it to. From there find the bin directory and
run the start executable. If the rpm install try:
/etc/rc.d/init/interchange/start
