[ic] [mv_data_table].autonumber counter help required

Hey there,

I was playing with the automatic number generation for the
lib/UI/pages/admin/flex_editor.html

>From what I understand, I just need to create a file named
__UI_PRODUCT_DIR__/[mv_data_table].autonumber

I have a table named "attributes" which works fine in this editor and i need
a unique number each time since I may have
thousands of attributes...so i go on and create that file...

The thing is I always get the default 'new' in the key field...does anyone
can tell me what i am missing?
