Well, I don't have that fedex file in any of my old Minivend 3x installs,
so I am guessing it was added by the developer? In any case, assuming it
works something like the UPS setup in Minivend, the fedex_zone.asc file
would relate zip-code ranges to zone numbers, which would be referenced in
another file along with some other criteria to get the actual shipping
charges. So the first step is to look in fedex_zone.asc to see if a range
is missing. I noticed the two zip codes you mentioned are relatively close
numerically, so this is a good bet. If the ranges are contiguous, then
look for the file which contains the actual shipping charges to see if
there is valid data for the range.
Ed,
Thanks for your response so quickly. Now it seems like the ranges are in
there
and the other file that I *think* is connected to this file is
FedExNextDayStandard.csv
but I don't know how they work with eachother. I'm including these two files
as
attachments. I've tried other zip codes from Indiana now, and it omits them
all.
<sighs> I wish I had the time from the company to really *learn* this from
the ground up
and not like this 'crash-course' fix learning.
Thanks again
