And a good day to you John.

I paid... I paid for the license and 1 year of support. See, the problem was
they can assist in the connection into the software, but had no clue who to talk
to on the "banking" end. If you walk into a bank, they will just say," Go see
this company". "THIS" company can be cybercash, authorized.net, etc... I had
to go behind the scenes to the main clearing house. This took months of finding
out who that was. See, Cybercash and others don't want you to be able to do what
I am doing with CCVS cause I DONT NEED THEM ANYMORE! I'm connected at the source
just as they are. That's why I was getting turned away from the banks as they
only wanted to talk to companies that are now connected.

Trouble is, now I'm like cybercash/etc. I can want to protect my technology of
connection direct to the clearing house (with AVS, etc). But what I have learned
is not to get greedy (No, Luke, it leads to the dark side) <grin>.

I really believe that Redhat should have been able to say," Oh yeah, call this
'clearing house' and ask for person-X". I would have been able to setup the
merchant account with direct deposit to my bank.

Seriously, CCVS is WAY powerful. I just hated to see bad support of the business
end (NOT THE TECHNICAL END) loose customers. I am a devoted fan of Linux and
know its a secret powerhouse for internet apps. CCVS is proof of this.

>Because I know from experience they jump to the pump more than Domo does when you
>are buying support from them...

Yes, but what made me worried was that I was getting those answer from Todd at
HKS... THEN redhat cut the cord and was not able to give me "BUSINESS" answers.
I seem to remember the license was $395 with a years support tossed in. Your
second license is $315 or something in that area. You need one per merchant
account (OR do like cybercash does, dump it all into one honey pot and let
the bees fight for it <NO Luke, don't go there!>).

Enjoy,
Carl
