[ic] Help Urgent ( Installing Demo Catalogue )

Hello Everyone, 

     I am a total newbie to Akopia Interchange. I have 
installed Interchange on the server. Now, when i am 
running demo catalogue installation, it exits 
installation with an error ( the error is stated below ) :

"mkdir /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/construct: Permission 
denied at bin/makecat line 1355"

     Please help me as sson as possible, as this is real 
urgent.
